The top 10 sales ranged from $276,000 for a Garrettsville home to the chart-topping Kent property on Sunnybrook Road. The average price per square foot across all sales came in at $128, with newer constructions in Aurora and Streetsboro commanding premium prices. Most of the high-end sales occurred in established communities like Aurora, Kent, and Streetsboro, reflecting strong demand in these areas.

🏠 Five homes change hands in Garfield Heights during early January sales. The transactions ranged from $110,000 to $153,500, with a median sale price of $125,100 for homes in this Cleveland suburb. The largest property sold was a five-bedroom house on Robinson Avenue measuring 1,512 square feet. The most expensive sale was a four-bedroom home on East 110th Street, fetching $153,500. All properties featured multiple bedrooms and at least one bathroom, with square footage costs ranging from $87 to $127 per square foot.

🦹‍♂️ FBI hunts masked bank robber who struck Ohio Key Bank. The suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall white male wearing dark clothing and a medical mask, robbed the Hudson branch last April using a demand note. Security photos show the suspect arrived in a dark Kia Sorento SUV, believed to be driven by an accomplice. The robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m. on April 6, with the thief escaping with an undisclosed sum. The FBI and Hudson Police are urging anyone with information to contact their tip line anonymously.

Linda RoebkeLinda Roebke

Linda Kay Roebke, 83, of Kent, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2024. Born in Loveland, Colorado, she graduated from Wheatridge High School in 1959 and married Andy Roebke in 1962, with whom she enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage until his passing in 2000. A dedicated mother and community volunteer, Linda found joy in crafting dollhouses, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Survived by her son John, daughter Barbara, and grandchildren, she will be cremated, with a Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for June 7, 2025.
