Good morning, Pike County. The season of giving is upon us, and local organizations are making it easier than ever to spread holiday cheer. Integrated Services' "Adopt A Teen For The Holidays" initiative offers a powerful opportunity to brighten the season for youth who might otherwise miss out on traditional celebrations. Meanwhile, Operation Christmas Child is gearing up with three Scioto County drop-off locations, continuing their 30-year mission of delivering joy to children affected by hardship worldwide.

While holiday preparations ramp up, Ohio University Chillicothe is looking toward the future with free AI workshops designed for curious minds of all backgrounds. These accessible sessions on "Unlocking the Power of AI" and "Mastering AI Prompting" aim to demystify emerging technologies for everyone from students to lifelong learners. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, these community workshops offer a valuable chance to stay ahead of the curve—no technical experience required.

🎁 Local teens need your kindness this holiday season. Integrated Services is sponsoring "Adopt A Teen For The Holidays" to brighten the season for youth who can't enjoy traditional celebrations. The community initiative invites individuals, families, groups, and businesses to show local teens they're valued and cared for through gift donations. Contributions can be dropped off at Roweton School in Chillicothe through December 5th. Your generosity could make a meaningful difference in a teen's holiday experience.

🎁 Operation Christmas Child drop-off locations are coming to Portsmouth soon. Volunteers are preparing to collect shoebox gifts at three Scioto County locations during National Collection Week, November 17-24. Since 1993, the initiative has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to children affected by war, poverty, disease, and disaster. The organization hopes to reach 12 million more children in 2025, partnering with local churches globally to deliver these expressions of love. Participants can donate $10 online through "Follow Your Box" to track their gift's destination.
