Good morning, Pike County. World-class cardiac care now has a local face as Dr. Hafeez Hassan of Adena Heart and Vascular Institute joins an elite global list of top cardiologists under 40. This medical marvel has performed over 500 life-saving procedures annually since 2021, bringing sophisticated cardiac interventions to our rural doorstep. Patients across southern Ohio no longer need to travel to metropolitan hospitals for critical care—they have a globally recognized heart specialist right here at home.

While Dr. Hassan keeps hearts beating strong, Ross County's mobile vaccination clinics are rolling into neighborhoods throughout October and November, making flu protection conveniently accessible across twelve different locations. And for those interested in constitutional history, award-winning documentary "The American Constitution" arrives in Chillicothe next week, offering free screenings with the film's director on hand for discussion—a timely cultural opportunity as we approach America's 250th anniversary celebrations.
