Joseph Leeth died Wednesday after his Yamaha motorcycle veered off Maple Grove Road in Ross County, striking a fence post and guy wire before overturning in a field. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Leeth, who was not wearing a helmet during the accident, was airlifted to Grant Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. The crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. in Union Township, causing a two-hour road closure as authorities investigated the scene.
