Meanwhile, legendary southern Ohio coach Tom Barrick received the Larry Wilson Award for lifetime achievement, recognizing his remarkable career including 19 seasons at Wheelersburg where he amassed a 339-113 record.

The Cavs secured a decisive three-set sweep (25-23, 25-17, 25-21) over the Braves Thursday at Hatton Memorial Gym, improving their record to an impressive 12-1. Mercer Cutright and "McDonald's Player of the Match" Jace Copley led the offensive charge with 10 and 9 kills respectively, while the team tallied 10 serving aces throughout the match.
