Each scholarship includes $1,000 in cash plus another $1,000 in an 18-month certificate of deposit earning 4.07% APY. Winners from various high schools including Chillicothe, Logan Elm, Adena, and Unioto were recognized for their academic achievements and future potential. 🏎️ Auto mechanic Jerry Moore left a legacy of cars and family. The 68-year-old South Webster resident passed away on April 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. A passionate car enthusiast, Jerry worked as a self-employed auto mechanic and body technician while spending much of his free time racing. He is survived by his wife Marlene, whom he married in 2012, along with five children, five grandchildren, and his sister Irene. Funeral services will be held April 17 at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
