Pickaway County • October 29, 2025
Good morning, Pickaway County. The countdown is on with just one week until Election Day, and local voters are facing a slate of critical decisions on everything from school boards to zoo funding. Early voting continues through Sunday, offering plenty of options to make your voice heard before the November 4 deadline. Meanwhile, coffee enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as the long-rumored Dunkin' Donuts is finally becoming reality inside Circleville's Walmart, bringing those signature brews and treats to shoppers later this month.
A sobering reminder about road safety comes after a three-vehicle collision on Tarlton Road sent a mother and her two children to the hospital earlier this week. The chain-reaction crash occurred when one driver failed to maintain control, resulting in a head-on collision that required medical airlifts for the most seriously injured. As we head into the busy holiday travel season, this incident underscores the importance of staying alert behind the wheel.

โ Dunkin' Donuts brews up new home inside Circleville Walmart. The popular coffee and donut chain will open next to the in-store Subway restaurant later this month, fulfilling years of rumors about a Pickaway County location. Walmart shoppers can expect typical Dunkin' promotions, including free coffee offers for Walmart+ members, app-based rewards, and the $5 Meal Deal featuring a medium coffee and two Wake-Up Wraps. This addition continues Walmart's trend of incorporating national food chains to enhance the shopping experience and provide more on-the-go options for customers.
