Good morning, Pickaway County. Columbus is gearing up for a much lighter festivity – the ninth annual Taco Fest moving to its new Goodale Park location on May 24-25. This culinary celebration promises over 25 food vendors, live music, and even a puppy dress-up contest that's bound to draw smiles across the community.

Meanwhile, a sobering reminder about traffic safety emerged after a late-night scooter crash left one person in critical condition at a southwest Columbus intersection. The rider reportedly ran a red light before being struck by a pickup truck Saturday night. As we transition into the warmer months when alternative transportation options become more popular, this incident serves as a timely reminder about the importance of obeying traffic signals regardless of your vehicle choice.
