Good morning, Pickaway County. A landmark 600+ attendees braved the rain for the Chillicothe VA's SpringFest earlier this month, underscoring our community's commitment to veteran mental health awareness. The record-breaking turnout for this vital cause featured everything from classic cars to community resources, highlighting the comprehensive mental health services available to those who've served our country—services that are critically important considering veterans represent 14% of adult suicide deaths while comprising just 7% of the population.

In other local developments, PepsiCo Foods is expanding its footprint with a new Frito-Lay warehouse in Circleville, while music and inspiration will fill the air at Ross County Fairgrounds on June 5th. Adena Health's Festival of Hope will blend free performances by local musicians with powerful survivor stories and a special luminary ceremony—offering both entertainment and crucial cancer support resources to our community members affected by the disease.
