Good morning, Pickaway County. Beyond the medicine cabinets and hospital rooms, a powerful healing force is taking shape in our community. Representatives from Touched by Cancer recently shared with the Circleville Sunrise Rotary how their holistic therapies—from oncologic massage to yoga—are creating a more comprehensive approach to cancer treatment, addressing both body and spirit during patients' most challenging journeys.

Meanwhile, Circleville police barely had time to catch their breath during a whirlwind weekend with over 70 incidents, from burglaries to alcohol-related offenses keeping officers moving across town. The mood should lighten considerably on July 19th, however, when the Chillicothe VA Medical Center transforms for Veterans Appreciation Night, offering everything from morning 5K runs to evening fireworks—a full day of free activities culminating in baseball and celebration for those who served our nation.

🌅 Cancer support goes beyond medicine at Circleville Sunrise Rotary meeting. Touched by Cancer representatives Sharon Jeanneret and P.J. Tosca shared how their organization provides holistic therapies to complement traditional cancer treatments. Their services include oncologic massage, yoga, and relaxation techniques designed to help patients manage symptoms and improve quality of life. These integrative approaches aim to treat the "whole person," addressing both physical and emotional challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. The organization's mission focuses on creating optimal healing conditions while giving patients more control in their recovery journey.
