🦠 Virus vacation

Pickaway County • March 28, 2025

Good morning, Pickaway County. From traffic accidents to trespassing reports, Circleville police had their hands full Wednesday tackling a diverse array of public safety concerns across the city. The department's daily log reads like a screenplay of small-town challenges—complete with suspicious persons investigations, well-being checks, and even animal complaints—showcasing the remarkably varied responsibilities our local officers shoulder within a single 24-hour shift.

While police were managing their busy day, a different kind of emergency was unfolding at Circleville Middle School, where a stomach virus outbreak has forced a two-day closure. On a happier note, local animal lovers are preparing for the 13th Annual Partners for Paws fundraiser on April 5th, an event that continues transforming the fate of shelter dogs from grim statistics to heartwarming adoption stories—proof that sometimes the most meaningful community changes happen one wagging tail at a time.
