Pickaway County • March 24, 2025
Good morning, Pickaway County. Three gas stations, two cities, one armed suspect—local law enforcement is piecing together what appears to be a connected string of robbery attempts across Circleville and Marysville. The brazen incidents, involving a black-clad individual brandishing a firearm at station employees, have prompted a region-wide alert as authorities work to identify the person responsible for this concerning crime spree.
Meanwhile, history and harmony are finding their place in our community calendar. At Ohio Christian University, Debi Dach Sugarman will soon share her father's powerful Holocaust survival story with local students, preserving crucial historical testimony for a new generation. And as spring officially arrives, Ashville Community Bible Church is celebrating the season with three days of special meetings featuring diverse speakers and musical performances—from the Beech Fork Quartet to The Blanton Sisters—offering something for everyone seeking community connection this weekend.

Just two hours later, a man matching the same description tried to rob two Marathon gas stations in Marysville. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in any of the robbery attempts, and police are urging anyone with information to contact local authorities.
🕯️ Holocaust survivor's daughter brings history to life at Ohio Christian University. Debi Dach Sugarman will share her father's story with local students on April 2nd in a free educational program.
