Pickaway County • March 4, 2025
Good morning, Pickaway County. A fiery Monday afternoon on North Court Street served as a sobering reminder about the dangers of reckless driving when a speeding Camaro triggered a head-on collision with a Dodge Ram. Four people were hospitalized after the crash, which occurred shortly after authorities had issued a BOLO alert for a white Camaro driving erratically on U.S. 23. The incident adds another chapter to what's been a busy week for Circleville police, who responded to nearly 100 incidents in just 72 hours.
On a tastier note, Southern comfort food enthusiasts can celebrate as Bojangles officially announces plans to bring its famous fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits to Circleville's Gateway development. Rather than recycling the former Del Taco building (which Huey Magoo's snagged), the popular chain is building from scratch near the U.S. 23 Connector Road, adding another flavor to our community's expanding menu of dining options.

🍗 Southern chicken favorite Bojangles is officially coming to Circleville. The popular fast-food chain known for fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits will build a new location in the Gateway development on South Court Street. After initial speculation about repurposing the former Del Taco building (which went to Huey Magoo's), Bojangles opted for ground-up construction near the U.S. 23 Connector Road. The new restaurant will be situated just north of McDonald's on a site formerly occupied by a school, bringing Southern comfort food to Circleville's expanding dining scene.
