📍 Flood watch fun

Pickaway County • February 17, 2025

Good morning, Pickaway County. Mother Nature is flexing her muscles across Ohio, and Clark Lakes residents are getting a front-row seat to her power. As rising floodwaters transform neighborhoods into impromptu waterways, Ohio Task Force 1's elite rescue team stands ready with 47 members poised to jump into action - proving that even in our wettest moments, heroes don't take rain checks.

While we're navigating these challenging waters, there's a silver lining on the horizon for South Bloomfield commuters. The upcoming $1.5 million US 23 expansion project promises to transform one of our most notorious traffic bottlenecks into a smooth-sailing transportation corridor. Though construction crews won't break ground until February 17, the prospect of improved traffic flow by 2025 gives us something dry to look forward to.
