Starting from Secrest Auditorium at 7:30 a.m. for the half marathon and 7:40 a.m. for the 5K, the races will require significant road closures from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes, with officials emphasizing the importance of giving runners space and heeding traffic marshals. 🎡 Coshocton County Fair returns with all-inclusive $15 daily admission. The 174th annual fair runs September 26 to October 2 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. This year's $15 ticket includes all grandstand events and rides, with free entry for children under 2. New additions include a communication board and two adult changing stations, funded by the County Board of Developmental Disabilities and American Rescue Plan Act money. Parking, including handicapped spaces, is available on-site at the fairgrounds.
⚖️ Justice nears for 67-year-old man who raped woman in her home. Phillip Norman pleaded guilty to rape charges stemming from a June 2024 incident where he sexually assaulted a female victim after entering her residence. DNA evidence and security footage helped secure the conviction after the victim reported the attack in July. Norman faces between 3 and 16.5 years in prison, with kidnapping and burglary charges being dismissed during his plea hearing. Currently held on $500,000 bond, Norman awaits his October 27 sentencing in Muskingum County Jail.
