Good morning, Muskingum County. A $150 million investment is transforming Ohio's steel industry as Cleveland-Cliffs prepares to unveil its new stainless steel upgrade at Coshocton Works next week. The July 2 ribbon-cutting ceremony will bring together industry leaders, key customers, and Governor Mike DeWine to celebrate this significant economic milestone that strengthens the company's position as a leading North American steel producer employing 30,000 people across the continent.

Local governance and community service take center stage this month with Perry County's packed July meeting calendar addressing everything from school levies to potential employee changes. Meanwhile, the firefighters who keep us safe are swinging into action for a different cause – their first-ever charity golf tournament this Sunday at Jaycee Public Golf Course. With spots still available for 12 more teams, there's time to join the fun while supporting those who run toward danger when the rest of us run away.
