Good morning, Muskingum County. The scoreboard told the tale at 11-7 as West Muskingum outpaced Crooksville in their latest softball showdown, adding another chapter to this local rivalry. The diamond drama continues to unfold across Ohio's high school fields, with teams battling through the spring season in pursuit of district glory and bragging rights that will echo through summer conversations.

Health-minded residents have a valuable opportunity on the horizon as Coshocton launches a free six-month wellness series led by Dr. Jess Bahan. The local chiropractor brings her expertise in nutrition and specialized health knowledge to monthly sessions covering everything from healthy eating to sciatica relief. In stark contrast to these community-building efforts, a troubling case has concluded with David Cole Jr. facing up to 11 years in prison after helping conceal his father's body while continuing to collect the deceased's Social Security benefits.
