Good morning, Muskingum County. A somber cloud hangs over our community following Thursday's tragic motorcycle collision on State Route 60 that claimed the life of 48-year-old Zanesville resident Jerry Clark. As Ohio State Highway Patrol continues their investigation into the crash that left passenger Amanda Runion with life-threatening injuries, many residents are reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of road safety as summer riding season approaches.

On a brighter note, health-conscious locals have a fresh reason to visit Maple Avenue with the grand opening of Pulp smoothie and juice bar. The new establishment is already making waves after its ribbon-cutting ceremony, where the "Pulp Passion" flavor emerged as Zanesville's favorite blend. Owner Austin Lemmon notes that customers particularly appreciate having access to 100% fruit smoothies without added sugar—a refreshing addition to our community's dining landscape.
