🍗 Biscuits and history

Muskingum County • April 3, 2025

Good morning, Muskingum County. The aroma of Southern comfort food has officially arrived in Zanesville with Bojangles' ribbon-cutting celebration on April 2nd. This marks the fast-food chain's third Central Ohio location, bringing not just their famous fried chicken and biscuits but also over 100 new jobs to our community. The expansion represents the company's growing footprint as it stretches northward from its Southern roots, with promises of limited-time menu items to tantalize local taste buds in the coming weeks.

April seems to be a month for celebrations across our region. The Coshocton Health District is marking three decades of public health service with an open house on April 9th, complete with facility tours and door prizes. Meanwhile, history enthusiasts won't want to miss Tom O'Grady's "The Burr Oak Connection" presentation on April 5th at Chesterhill's Multicultural Genealogical Center, where he'll share fascinating tales of regional characters whose stories might otherwise remain submerged beneath the waters of Tom Jenkins Dam.
