🏌️ Golf glory

Muskingum County • March 26, 2025

Good morning, Muskingum County. Local athletic excellence continues to shine as John Glenn golf standout Noah Dever signs with Charleston University. The senior's impressive resume—featuring two MVL Player of the Year titles and Second Team All-Ohio honors—represents not just individual achievement, but the culmination of four years helping the Muskies capture conference championships and state tournament appearances. Dever's academic and multi-sport success embodies the well-rounded talent our community consistently produces.

Meanwhile, Salt Fork State Park is set for a transformative $9.6 million makeover funded by fracking revenues, bringing modern amenities to Ohio's largest state park. Just as landscapes evolve, so too are educational approaches at Cambridge Middle School, where data-driven initiatives and expanded career tech programs—including an innovative agriculture partnership—are preparing students for future success. These developments reflect our region's commitment to enhancing both natural resources and human potential.
