🎨 Young masters showcase

Muskingum County • March 12, 2025

Good morning, Muskingum County. March is bringing a creative renaissance to our region as young artists from kindergartners to high schoolers prepare to transform the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum into "A Playground of Talent." Starting March 16, these budding creators will showcase everything from paintings to digital art in an exhibition that reminds us creativity has no age requirement—just passion and imagination. With free Sunday admission for county residents, there's no excuse to miss witnessing our community's next generation of artistic talent.

History buffs are marking their calendars as Muskingum County History rolls out a compelling March lineup featuring the Zane family's foundational role in Zanesville and retrospectives on the Great Flood of 1913. Meanwhile, Ridgewood Local School District is celebrating excellence in both learning and teaching—with four exceptional students earning prestigious recognitions and music teacher Shannon Folkert demonstrating that nurturing talent across all grade levels deserves its own standing ovation.
