Good morning, Meigs County. The digital revolution has officially arrived at Parkersburg High School, where a state-of-the-art scoreboard installation is underway just in time for the fall season. This technological upgrade isn't just about displaying points—it's creating hands-on educational opportunities for students while coinciding with thoughtful policy shifts around phone usage that give high schoolers lunch-time privileges while maintaining stricter boundaries for middle schoolers.

Across town at Williamstown Middle/High School, more than 3,000 individual registrations have poured in for the Teaching and Learning Academy, where educators are diving into everything from autism inclusion to AI applications in the classroom. And for those seeking a moment of tranquility amid all this progress, Belpre's Civitan Park offers the perfect respite, with its fountain creating a serene centerpiece that showcases the natural splendor that makes our Mid-Ohio Valley special.
