💔 Heartfelt community strength

Meigs County • December 26, 2024

Good morning, Meigs County. On a day when our community grapples with heavy news, we're reminded that even the darkest moments bring out the unwavering dedication of our local law enforcement. The discovery of Edie Roush's remains near Portland has touched many hearts, while our officers work tirelessly to piece together answers for a grieving family.

Just across the river, a swift collaboration between local and state police forces demonstrates the strength of our regional partnerships. The quick arrests following the discovery in Mason County show that in our tight-knit communities, justice moves with remarkable efficiency. Our thoughts remain with all the families affected by these tragic events as investigators continue their diligent work.
