Good morning, Marion County. Did you know Ohio landowners can earn up to $30 per acre simply by opening their property to hunters? The Ohio Landowner-Hunter Access Partnership has already enrolled nearly 31,000 acres since 2021, with 90% of participants reporting satisfaction with the program. Applications are open until July 31, offering a unique opportunity to support conservation while creating sustainable hunting access across our region.

Meanwhile, innovation flourishes at Ohio State Marion, where professors Chris Orban and Scott Zimmerman secured a $20,000 grant to revolutionize high school math education. Their STEMcoding Data Science initiative teaches students to analyze real-world data from NASA and NOAA, developing crucial "data storytelling" skills. In less uplifting news, Columbus police arrested 38-year-old Rashaun Hill after a shooting outside a North Linden bar left two people injured early Wednesday morning—both victims are currently in stable condition as the investigation continues.
