Good morning, Marion County. Academic excellence is shining bright in our community as three Archbold residents – Annika DeLong, Carsyn Hagans, and Trey Theobald – have earned coveted spots on Ohio Wesleyan University's dean's list. Their impressive achievement stands alongside another local star, Addyston Knauff from Hillsboro, whose outstanding work with llamas Chester and Tucker has earned her the prestigious Ohio 4-H Llama Achievement Award and a trip to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, architecture enthusiasts are buzzing about a rare piece of American history that just hit the market in Columbus. A Lustron home – one of only 2,500 prefabricated enameled steel dwellings built in the late 1940s – is listed for $380K in Clintonville. This unique 1,021-square-foot property represents an innovative solution to post-WWII housing shortages and awaits a buyer who appreciates its historical significance in our region's architectural landscape.

🏠 Rare steel Lustron home hits market in Columbus for $380K. The 1,021-square-foot Clintonville property represents one of only 2,500 prefabricated enameled steel homes built by the now-defunct Lustron Corporation in the late 1940s. These unique dwellings were designed to address post-WWII housing shortages with affordable, quickly-assembled structures. Despite their innovative concept, Lustron faced financial troubles and went bankrupt in 1950. While the two-bedroom home has attracted curious visitors, it's still seeking a buyer who appreciates its historical significance.
