๐ฎ Parkersburg man turns childhood passion into full-fledged video game. Eric Farr, 37, has released "Crystal Covenant," a role-playing adventure he developed over nearly four years. The game follows King Lysander and eight uniquely skilled adventurers on their quest to find the Crystal of Light across 13 levels of gameplay. Drawing inspiration from classics like "Final Fantasy" that Farr enjoyed as a child, the PG-rated game offers approximately 12 hours of monster-battling action and is available for download at $15.
๐ Ohio health departments must achieve national accreditation to operate. The Meigs County Health Department (MCHD) earned this status in 2022 and is working toward reaccreditation in 2027. Accreditation ensures health departments implement formal processes including performance management, community health assessments, strategic planning, workforce development, and proper branding. Through these standards, MCHD has strengthened community partnerships via Get Healthy Meigs!, which addresses priority areas like physical activity, mental health, and access to care. The process ultimately improves accountability and service quality for the community.
