Good morning, Hocking County. Did you know there's a museum just minutes from Columbus dedicated entirely to pencil sharpeners? Paul A. Johnson's quirky collection of thousands of these humble desktop tools now delights visitors at the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center. From skylines to comic characters, these miniature marvels showcase how everyday objects can become surprising works of artβ€”and best of all, this five-minute detour won't cost you a penny during your next Hocking Hills adventure.

In more serious developments, former county prosecutor Ryan Black received a two-year suspension with six months stayed following admissions of sexual misconduct toward office employees. Meanwhile, Hocking Valley Community Hospital celebrated staff longevity during National Hospital Week, recognizing the healthcare workers who form the backbone of our rural medical system. The Logan Chieftains baseball team wrapped up their season with a 4-1 tournament loss to Watkins Memorial, unable to overcome their opponents' strong performance.
