Good morning, Hamilton County. A piece of Cincinnati's manufacturing history is reaching for the stars as Kenner Products' iconic Star Wars lightsaber vies for induction into the National Toy Hall of Fame. The legendary toy company, which sold over 300 million Star Wars figures between 1978 and 1985, helped transform movie merchandising while cementing our region's place in pop culture history. Those vintage lightsabers that once lit up childhood imaginations now command hundreds or thousands from collectors—proof that the Force remains strong with Cincinnati's creative legacy.

In less uplifting news, a local romance scammer's love story has reached its final chapter. A 41-year-old Cincinnati man has pleaded guilty to laundering millions after creating fake dating profiles to extract money from dozens of victims. Meanwhile, University of Cincinnati researchers are shedding light on fibromyalgia's surprising connections to seven other conditions, potentially transforming how doctors approach this complex disorder affecting 4 million American adults.
