Meanwhile, Amazon is expanding its Ohio footprint with a massive 500,000-square-foot robotic facility in Warren County that promises 125 new jobs and faster deliveries for Cincinnati residents—proving that both tradition and innovation have a home here.

The University of Cincinnati has been officially recognized as an Age-Friendly University, joining over 100 institutions committed to serving learners at every life stage. This designation acknowledges UC's dedication to fostering age integration in teaching, research, and community engagement. Led by the UC Emeriti Association with broad campus support, the university will focus on strengthening intergenerational learning, campus accessibility, retiree engagement, and aging-related research. The recognition aligns with Cincinnati's status as an Age-Friendly City and Ohio's designation as an Age-Friendly State.
🍺 Cincinnati celebrates Oktoberfest with mouthwatering food and beer specials. Local bars and restaurants are honoring the German festival with themed dishes, events, and specialty brews from September 18-21. Yard House offers German beers and stein-hoisting competitions, while Catch-A-Fire Pizza serves a bratwurst and sauerkraut pie. The new 500,000-square-foot center in Warren County will create 125 full-time jobs and expand same-day delivery service to Prime members in Northern Cincinnati. Utilizing advanced robotic technology, the facility represents Amazon's ongoing investment in Ohio, where the company has invested over $35 billion since 2010. "Ohio continues to be an ideal location for growing our operations and serving our customers," said Kyle DeGiulio, Amazon's regional economic development manager. The expansion has already created tens of thousands of jobs across various sectors in the state.
