Good morning, Geauga County. An extraordinary display of community strength unfolded recently as Cleveland's Jewish Federation raised a staggering $1.7 million in just one day. The September 7 Super Sunday event brought hundreds of volunteers together, making calls and creating connections that will support vital programs both locally and globally—a powerful reminder that when communities unite around shared values, remarkable things happen.

Jazz enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as legendary Cleveland Heights venue Nighttown begins its musical renaissance through an innovative partnership between trumpeter Dominick Farinacci and EDWINS Leadership Institute. The series launches September 9, bringing both established legends and rising stars to this cultural landmark. Meanwhile, Fairport Harbor is preparing to honor its everyday heroes at the First Responders Remembrance Ceremony on September 12, where community members will gather to recognize those who keep us safe and the families standing behind them.

🎺 Jazz returns to legendary Cleveland Heights venue with new partnership. Acclaimed trumpeter Dominick Farinacci is teaming up with EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute to launch a concert series at the former Nighttown space. The series kicks off September 9 and will feature legendary artists, local jazz icons, and rising stars performing on select weeknights. For decades, Nighttown served as a cultural anchor for Cleveland's music scene, and while this new chapter won't recreate the past, it aims to carry forward its spirit. EDWINS, known for its award-winning culinary program supporting formerly incarcerated individuals, sees the partnership as extending its mission of transformation and excellence into music.
