Good morning, Geauga County. July and August are shaping up to be a festival-lover's dream in our corner of Ohio. From Hemly Tool Supply's annual car show with its gleaming chrome on the Fourth to the intriguingly named "Gone Squatchin' Bigfoot Festival" on July 12th, summer's social calendar is bursting at the seams. Even Christmas is making an unexpected July appearance, proving once again that our community never misses an opportunity to celebrate—whatever the season.

The artistic pulse of Northeast Ohio will be on full display at the 49th Fairmount Art Exhibition starting August 5th. With $2,800 in prizes up for grabs and diverse media ranging from paintings to sculpture, local creatives are preparing their finest works. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Jewish Publication Company continues its impressive trajectory, recently honored as part of the "Media That Matters" class of 2025—their third national recognition in just five years. Clearly, excellence runs deep in Geauga County waters.
