Good morning, Geauga County. Suspended 50 feet above a breathtaking gorge, Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park's new glass walkway has become Northeast Ohio's most thrilling vantage point. The 137-foot transparent path has drawn visitors from 16 states and Canada since May, offering nature enthusiasts unique perspectives of the Sylvan Creek Gorge without disturbing the natural landscape. It's the perfect reward waiting at the end of the park's color-coded hiking trails—what officials aptly describe as "the top of the ice cream cone" after your journey.

Speaking of sweet treats, Pop Culture CLE in Solon is redefining dessert with Instagram-worthy, dairy-free ice cream pops that even vegans can enjoy. Meanwhile, Beachwood continues setting regional standards with impressive achievements in public safety, economic development, and sustainability—including Ohio's first solar-powered streetlight program. These innovations reflect the collaborative leadership keeping this community at the forefront of excellence, all without raising taxes.

🌉 Glass walkway thrills visitors with stunning views of 50-foot gorge. The 137-foot S-shaped transparent path at Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park in Portage County offers breathtaking perspectives of Sylvan Creek Gorge and Minnehaha Falls. Since opening in May, the attraction has drawn tens of thousands of visitors from 16 states and Canada, according to park manager John Trevelline. The walkway, reinforced with galvanized steel and stainless-steel cable railings, allows nature lovers to experience the park's beauty from unique angles without disturbing the landscape. Four color-coded trails of varying difficulties lead to the bridge, which park officials describe as "the top of the ice cream cone" at the end of a hike.
