Geauga County • June 13, 2025
Good morning, Geauga County. The grocery gap in Cedar-Fairmount is finally closing! After years without convenient food shopping options, Cleveland Heights residents will welcome Grocery Outlet on July 10, bringing affordable groceries back to the neighborhood. This new addition represents more than just a store opening—it's the return of an essential community resource that residents have sorely missed since the previous market's departure.
While one community celebrates a new beginning, another celebrates achievement. Leadership Geauga recently honored 38 graduates who traveled nearly 400 miles throughout the county, connecting with 138 local leaders during their year-long program. Meanwhile, at JFSA's Memory Café in Beachwood, something beautiful is happening—individuals with memory loss and their caregivers are finding joy through culturally rich activities, forming meaningful connections that have helped the program outgrow its previous space and touch countless lives.
