Good morning, Geauga County. The familiar rhythm of dance steps echoed across Chardon Square last weekend as young performers from Inspired Movement Dance Studio brought artistry and energy to the Maple Festival's final day. These talented dancers didn't just perform—they created a moment of community connection that board president Leah Nash called "truly an honor," showcasing how deeply intertwined our local arts programs are with the traditions that define our county's character.

Around our region, both celebrations and remembrances remind us of the human connections that form our community fabric. A rally in Solon brought dozens together in a peaceful demonstration against hatred, while Munson Township mourns and celebrates Anna Rose Fatica—a woman whose 90 years of life touched countless others through her work as a bank teller, devoted school volunteer, and the kind of person who would dress in costume just to bring smiles to children's faces. Her legacy of warmth and joy continues through the lives she brightened.
