Good morning, Gallia County. From source to sea, the mighty rivers that shape our landscape carry stories as powerful as their currents. Dan Imhoff, who once paddled from the Hocking River all the way to New Orleans, will share his extraordinary aquatic journey at the Southeast Ohio History Center's Lyceum Luncheon on August 21st. His presentation promises to deepen our appreciation for these vital waterways that connect our communities across state lines.

Time-travelers, take note! The Rio Renaissance Faire returns September 27th, transforming Rio Grande's Gatewood Trail System into a vibrant slice of 16th-century England. For just $5, you can wander through wall mazes, browse artisan marketplaces, and embrace your whimsical side amid period entertainment. The team behind Final Boss Con has created a medieval playground that proves you don't need a DeLorean to journey through time—sometimes all it takes is a short drive to Rio Grande.
