The fourth annual "Praise Along the River" returns to Point Pleasant's Riverfront Park on June 29, featuring one of gospel's greatest soloists. Former Mayor Brian Billings, who started the event in 2022, continues to oversee the gathering that has consistently drawn over 200 attendees. Local musicians Sincere Revival will perform alongside Parker, known worldwide for his signature song "Midnight Cry." Lloyd plans to further his education at the Hobart Institute of Welding, embodying Voss's vision of students pursuing technical skills for their future. The scholarship was presented by Andrea's parents, Paul and Beverly Voss, to support graduating seniors seeking career/technical education.
