🎉 Justice and transformation

Gallia County • February 7, 2025

Good morning, Gallia County. Justice landed with seismic force in our courthouse this month, as eight defendants faced the music in what's being called one of the most significant sentencing sweeps in recent memory. The 64-year sentence handed down in the Durst case sends a crystal-clear message: our community stands firmly against those who would harm our most vulnerable.

On a brighter note, while some doors are closing behind prison bars, others are opening to exciting possibilities. Pomeroy's ambitious $8.3 million riverfront transformation is set to turn our waterfront into a vibrant community hub, and Coplin Health Systems is spreading the love this Valentine's season with their heart health screenings. From justice served to hearts protected, our community keeps proving that positive change comes in many forms.
