🔥 Tragic house fire claims son's life, leaves elderly father hospitalized. The deadly blaze struck near Letart in Mason County, West Virginia early Monday morning. The victim, a man in his 50s, perished in the fire while his father, in his 80s, was rushed to Huntington's burn center for treatment. The state Fire Marshal's Office has launched an investigation into the cause of the devastating incident.

⚖️ Trusted wrestling coach sentenced to prison for orchestrating teen sex crimes. Matthew Huck, former River Valley High School coach in Ohio, received six years behind bars for pressuring teenage wrestlers to have sex with his then-wife between 2003-2016. The couple's scheme involved multiple victims, including three boys from the wrestling team and a teenage girl who was sexually assaulted at a sleepover. Huck, convicted of four felonies, must register as a sex offender for 25 years after release. Though suspicions existed in the community for years, the case only recently came to light, leading to convictions of both Matthew and his ex-wife Paige Huck.

Nancy Ann MarshallNancy Ann Marshall

Nancy Ann Marshall, 91, of Cheshire, Ohio, passed away on January 19, 2025, at Holzer Medical Center. Born in Gallipolis, she was a beloved member of her community, known for her vibrant personality and cherished weekly lunches at the Meigs County Senior Citizens Center. Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and other family members, including a grandson. Funeral services are scheduled for January 24, 2025, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church.
