Good morning, Fayette County. The weekend police blotter reads like a snapshot of small-town dynamics, with Highland County deputies mediating verbal disputes and investigating trespassing complaints involving hunters. While these situations required no charges, the weekend wasn't without consequences for others facing citations for driving under suspension and aggravated menacing—a reminder that even quiet communities have their share of legal entanglements.

On a brighter note, literary access is expanding 24/7 with Carnegie Library's new pickup lockers in Bloomingburg. These grant-funded lockers let cardholders grab reserved materials anytime using the SEO Libraries App—no library hours required. Meanwhile, Belle Aire Intermediate School is celebrating academic stars, with nearly 70 students across third, fourth, and fifth grades earning all A's for the first nine weeks. These young scholars are starting strong as we head into the holiday season.
