The closure follows the eatery's sale by Square Roots Restaurant Group to a new owner in June. According to a social media statement, a new concept called Stockyard Grill will take over the space at 5 N. 3rd St. Details about the Stockyard Grill's opening timeline and menu offerings have not yet been revealed.
🚔 Highland County sheriff reports multiple theft investigations underway. Deputies responded to incidents on US Route 50, Karnes Road, and Walnut Shade Road during the first week of October. Trespassing, disorderly conduct, and suspicious mail were also among the complaints handled by the department. Several arrests were made, including an 82-year-old Hillsboro resident cited for speeding and a Milledgeville resident for failure to file annual registration.
