Good morning, Fayette County. The pages of autumn are turning with vibrant community events taking shape across the region. Highland County poet Carol Hottle returns to her roots this Sunday, bringing verses shaped by rural upbringing and natural wonder to the Highland House Museum. Her journey from local farm girl to published poet showcases how deeply our landscape shapes our creative expressions, with her work soon to appear in the anthology "Just Imagine: Oregon Horizons."
Meanwhile, seasonal celebrations and healthcare expansions highlight our community's growth. Fall Creek Friends Church prepares for its October 4 Harvest Fest, promising hayrides, fellowship and live music from Carson Peters and Iron Mountain. And looking ahead to next summer, Kettering Health continues its regional investment with a comprehensive new medical center in Washington Court House, adding to its recent $10 million renovation of Greene Memorial Hospital and other healthcare expansions throughout the area.
