🕊️ Beloved community leader Darrell Tissot leaves lasting legacy at 81. The Hillsboro resident passed away on June 20, 2025, after a life dedicated to service and philanthropy throughout Highland County. A graduate of Whiteoak High School and Morehead State University, Tissot was deeply involved in numerous organizations, including the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodges, and the Highland County Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife Jane, two children, a brother, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Mowrystown Presbyterian Church on June 24, with interment following at Mowrystown Cemetery.
