Good morning, Fayette County. Turn the page and earn a reward! Carnegie Library's summer reading program is transforming reading into a treasure hunt, with children collecting bracelet charms for every 30 minutes spent with a book, while teens and adults enter weekly prize drawings. Beyond the pages, the library's summer calendar bursts with free activities from storytimes and gardening clubs to ukulele sessions and button tree painting – creating a community hub where curiosity thrives.

Meanwhile, our landscape continues evolving as Bishop Estates breaks ground on Dayton Avenue, with D.R. Horton set to build 54 new homes in the first phase of an ambitious development featuring tree-themed streets. And if you're mapping out your Independence Day celebrations, you're in luck – Central Ohio will light up with spectacular fireworks displays across multiple communities, from Columbus's Red, White & BOOM! on July 3 to Dublin's day-long festivities on the Fourth.
