Scott, 44, of Laurelville, was charged with murder, while Columbus resident Holly McDaniel, 45, faces charges of abuse of a corpse. Both suspects are being held in Fairfield County Jail awaiting grand jury proceedings. The Lancaster Police Department is continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
