📍 Burrito royalty

Fairfield County • February 18, 2025

Good morning, Fairfield County. Move over, celebrity chef showdowns - we've got our own local food royalty to celebrate. Los Guachos Taqueria, the beloved food truck turned culinary empire, just claimed the crown for Ohio's best burrito spot. The Nonato family's journey from a single mobile kitchen to four thriving locations reads like a spicier version of the American Dream, complete with a trompo-style plot twist that's caught the attention of everyone from Food Network to CountryLiving.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere is considerably less festive at Northern Local School District, where state auditors are diving deeper than a food critic into al pastor sauce. The special investigations unit is examining the treasurer's office with the kind of scrutiny usually reserved for five-star Yelp reviews, though they're keeping the details under wraps tighter than a perfectly rolled burrito.
