Good morning, Dev Test County. Dallas' skyline isn't the only thing reaching new heights this week. EXP consulting firm has strategically expanded its Texas footprint with a new Galleria-area office, positioning itself to tackle mission-critical aviation and infrastructure projects while adding dozens of employees to its workforce. The move signals continuing momentum in Dallas' development landscape, particularly as upgrades continue at DFW Airport.

In a perfect example of life imitating art, the Dallas Theater Center had to cancel multiple performances of "Noises Off" – a farce about a theatrical production gone wrong – due to actual cast injuries and illness. Meanwhile, as Halloween approaches, locals might want to keep an eye out for Dallas' spectral residents, from the dripping wet Lady of White Rock Lake to the Victorian spirits of Sons of Hermann Hall. Who knew our concrete jungle harbored so many ghostly tales between its freeways and skyscrapers?

🎭 Dallas theater cancels "Noises Off" shows due to cast injuries and illness. The Dallas Theater Center had to cancel multiple performances of the farcical British play, leaving ticketholders disappointed and scrambling to adjust their plans. Executive Director Kevin Moriarty apologized, explaining that the "intensely physical comedy" couldn't safely continue with missing performers. The theater offered refunds, exchanges, credits, or donations to affected patrons. Moving forward, the theater plans to implement SMS text alerts and better coverage for key roles to prevent future disruptions.

👻 Dallas has ghosts hiding between its freeways and skyscrapers. From the Lady of White Rock Lake who appears dripping wet after her drowning to theater owner Karl Hoblitzelle still watching over the Majestic, the city boasts several famous spectral residents. Other notable hauntings include a jilted bride at the Adolphus Hotel, Victorian spirits at Sons of Hermann Hall, and even ghostly children at Snuffer's Restaurant. Though lacking classic ghost-story settings like foggy cliffs or swamps, Dallas has cultivated its own collection of spooky tales just in time for Halloween.
