Dale Dummitt, Sr

Dale E. Dummitt Sr., 73, of Long Bottom, OH, passed away on December 16, 2024, at Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department. Born on July 12, 1951, in Ripley, OH, he was the son of the late Thurman and Martha Wagner Dummitt. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Foster Dummitt; children Dale Dummitt Jr. and Catrina Pierce; and several grandchildren and relatives. Dale was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy, and a grandchild. In accordance with his wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held.

Monroe Caroline Bruner Dean, a dedicated nurse and beloved family member, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 21, 2024, in Monroe, Ohio. Born on September 13, 1927, in Cleveland, she earned her nursing degree from Skidmore College and later a Master's from Ohio University. Cary had a distinguished career as the Head Nurse of Obstetrics at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital and enjoyed traveling with her husband, Hank Dean. She is survived by her husband and their four children. A private memorial service will be held, with memorial contributions suggested to the O'Bleness Hospital Healthy Moms and Babies Fund.
