Joyce Ann Greene

Joyce Ann Greene, 79, passed away on August 14, 2025, at her residence. Known for her strength, patience, and generosity, she was a mother figure to many. She is survived by her son Rob Shivers, siblings James, David, and Sara, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her life partner Reed Carper. She was preceded in death by her parents and three children, with a service scheduled for August 22, 2025, at Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home in Centerburg, Ohio.

Martha C. Wohlert

Martha C. Wohlert, 97, of Westerville, OH, passed away on August 14, 2025, at her daughter's home in Diamond, OH. After retiring from DCSC after 30 years, she enjoyed activities at Blendon Senior Center, garage sales, and ballroom dancing. Martha was married to Herbert for many years until his death in 1989, and was active in her church and loved raising her children, sewing, and playing piano. She is survived by two daughters, a son, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, while being preceded in death by her husband, oldest daughter, and son-in-law.

Joel C. McClurg

Joel McClurg, 81, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 2, 2025, following a brief illness. Born in Springfield, Ohio, he had a successful career in labor relations after graduating from Miami University. Joel is survived by his two sons, six grandchildren, his partner of 32 years, Judy Newton Devault, and her family. An active member of Saint Joseph Cathedral, Joel enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, reading, and was known for his wit, humor, and devotion to family and friends.
