Good morning, Westerville. Bridge troubles have suddenly reshaped the morning commute for thousands of I-71 northbound travelers, with ODOT crews racing against time to repair "concrete failure" on the ramp to westbound I-270. While the unexpected closure might test your patience through Wednesday, there's a silver lining in the multiple detour options provided and the promised Thursday reopening—assuming the fresh concrete cooperates with its curing schedule.

Meanwhile, Columbus continues its remarkable evolution, beautifully documented in a fascinating collection of aerial photographs that trace our skyline's transformation from the 1950s to today. These bird's-eye snapshots capture everything from the construction of iconic landmarks like Nationwide Arena to the development of Easton and Polaris, offering a visual time capsule of how dramatically our region has changed—much like the concrete beneath our wheels that occasionally needs refreshing.
