🍝 Chef revives Short North space with Italian restaurant Metsi's. B.J. Lieberman and Bronwyn Haines, already owners of Chapman's Eat Market and Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, will open the metropolitan Italian restaurant in June at 36 E. Lincoln St. The "red sauce joint" honors Lieberman's New York roots and his father (a Mets fan), featuring classic appetizers, salads, pastas and wood-fired entrees—though notably, no pizza. The two-floor space maintains many features from Lieberman's previous restaurant Hiraeth, with The Bar at Metsi's upstairs and Metsi's Wood-Fired Italian on the lower level.
